Diabetes, Bad Breath And The Initiative To Have Good Oral Care
April 15th, 2008
For people who are suffering from diabetes, it is possible to get rid of bad breath unless one will have the initiative to have good oral hygiene, and adequate hydration of the mouth. In order to avoid halitosis and gum disease problems, diabetic people should drink more water than the usual because diabetes causes the system of the body to use more water than the normal. And also because diabetes causes dehydration, that is is why diabetics should always avoid the intake of diuretics. Some actions and behaviors can also lead to dehydration and should be avoided when you have diabetes like smoking, tobacco use, alcohol intake, the use of laxatives, low-carb diet, inadequate hydration, and excessive exercise.
