There are different types of psoriasis. When you have a type that appears on areas of the body that can be seen, it is possible for your career to suffer. Others may perceive you as not clean or contagious. Psoriasis isn’t contagious, but many people don’t take the time to find that little piece of information out. On a more personal level, you may lack the confidence to really shine due to the appearance of your skin. It is really hard to give that big presentation when everyone in the room is looking at the lesions on your skin. This is just one reason why working treatments for psoriasis are so important.
