A hot flash occurs because of the hormonal changes that go in the body during menopause. When this occurs, your body tries to defend against the sudden onset of heat. If you want to stop suffering from this condition, you may follow some of this natural ways:
• Wear layered clothes, so that when hot flash strikes occurs it is easy to remove the other layered clothes;
• Taking cool showers before bed, use cotton clothes instead of synthetic, and sipping iced water when hot flash strikes;
• Avoid thing that trigger a hot flash such as alcohol, caffeine, hot food, hot showers, smoking, or saunas.
