Maintenance of a pool is a fairly trouble-free duty, but it is a practice that must be followed unfailingly if you want to get the utmost profit out of your pool. The chief thing to consider in enjoying a pool is to take care of any difficulty before it happens, and not after the happening. Fixing a cracked or perished pool is awfully expensive, and besides, you don’t want to be lacking the gain of the pool during the summer period!

Pools are much like hot tubs or spas in that they require filter changes, routine cleaning, and a cautious check of the pH water balance during the swimming season. If appropriate water balance is maintained, and you insure that the circulation system in your new pool is adequate and always working properly, then two thirds of the battle is done. A lot of the chemical considerations are determined by the amount of usage the pool gets during the summer months.
