For official corporate functions, or when there is to be a speech, it is advisable to have your guests seated at a table. Plated meals, where meals are delivered to the table, avoids the distraction of traffic back and forth between the food stations, and makes sure that your guests are all served at similar times. Food stations, however, are usually less pricy and offer your guests a larger selection of menu items. Choose a good caterer.
